Tenants (on initial application):
- We will take your details and note your requirements
as to preferred area, type of property, number of
bedrooms required, price range and urgency of move.
- Check our register of available properties to see
if there are any suitable properties to view immediately.
- Actively search for suitable properties and arrange
for you to view ones that match your requirements.
- Take a Holding Deposit from you when you apply for
a property, which ensures the property will not be
shown to anyone else while we undertake references.
- Explain clearly the costs involved and the forms
and documents used throughout the process, in plain
English.
- Give you a copy of the tenancy agreement and any
other legal forms required prior to taking up the
tenancy, so you can read them and take legal advice
in your own time.
Tenants (after
successful application):
- Arrange a convenient time for you to move into your
new home.
- Complete a comprehensive Inventory and Schedule
of Condition, and make sure you have the opportunity
to make any notes or observations on them at the outset
of the tenancy.
- Present you with a copy of the landlord's Gas Safety
Certificate to prove compliance with safety laws.
- Assist with the smooth hand over of Gas, Electric,
Water and Council Tax accounts.
