Tower Estates is a small, friendly and family run company:
- Mark, the Founder since 1998
- Chris, Mark’s wife and been here since the start
- Tom, Mark and Chris’s son
- Dan, long-time family friend
Between us we have 52 years of experience in the world of rental property!

First up is our Founder Mark – Director & General Manager
“I launched Tower Estates in 1998 following 12 years flying on Nimrod Aircraft in the R.A.F. I was letting out my home in Scarborough during my time in the RAF and I knew I could do it better with the ethos of complete, competent care. Starting from a room in my house and an advert in the local paper, the Company has now let and managed thousands of properties in the Scarborough area. I am co-director with my wife Chris and the rest of the team are my son (Tom), family friend (Dan), our clients account manager (Dean) and our new apprentice (Amy). While the Company is now a considerable size, and we offer a wider range of services including Sales, we still keep to the family values which were so very important to us when we started”.

“I am the ‘son/nephew’ part of the family and have known Dan through my childhood as we went to the same schools. I mainly deal with buyers and sellers of residential property around Scarborough. I also built and maintain the Tower Estates app.”

This is Dan – Lettings Manager
“I have been an employee of Tower Estates since 2012; first joining this great team as an Apprentice after finishing college. I instantly felt welcome as part of the Tower Estates family and continue to enjoy working with and helping to oversee the Lettings department, dealing with Landlords and Tenants on a daily basis.”
